Karen McLaughlin started painting around 20 years ago. After she mastered, to her satisfaction, oils and acrylics, she became interested in watercolor because she liked the flow of it. She has about 6 years of experience teaching watercolor. Her paintings can be seen around Monroe and surrounding areas in various businesses. 

The painting you will be doing is easy and loose. The class size will be limited to allow everyone to get individual attention. If you have watercolor supplies, bring them to class. The Monroe Art League will make available the use of some limited watercolor pallets to those who are completely new to the medium.
