INAPPROPRIATE images for 1813:

  • Men's buckled shoes no longer being worn.
  • Indians armed onlly with short rifles, tomahawks and knives -- NO bows and arrows.
  • No pine trees grew in the wet, swampy soil of Frenchtown.
  • Very few powder horns were in use, and ONLY by a few Kentucky volunteers.
