MONROE ART LEAGUE MEETINGS
The Monroe Art League meets every fourth Tuesday evening
(March through December) at 6 p.m. at the United Way Building,
216 N. Monroe Street, Monroe MI.
(A Special thanks to United Way of Monroe County for hosting our meetings)
Our next gathering:
An unofficial informal get-together is planned
for Tuesday, February 28th,
6 pm at the United Way Building. Although this is not a regularly scheduled
meeting, and no business will be discussed, it is for members and friends to
get together informally and do art, see art, and talk art.
Here's the invite from President Sandy:
A suggestion was made that this might be a "clean out your closet" night
we bring unneeded, and still usable supplies for an art supply swap meet.
also be good to
just casually talk about what each of you would like to
see demonstrated or done during the year. It is not for "business"
but can be for a work together night, a brag night, or a swap meet.
Bring your paints or pastels or clay or camera or fiber art or whatever you wish to work on or show us!
Remember: If the public school system cancels classes due to bad weather, we will not gather.
Our next meeting:
and New Members are always welcome!
Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
